1. What Store Forge is

Store Forge ("we", "us", "the platform") provides hosted online storefronts for independent makers and small businesses. We give you the tools to build a shop, list products, and accept payments — you run your business.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Store Forge. Keep your credentials safe — you are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that remain inactive for an extended period.

3. Payments & Stripe Connect

Payments are processed through Stripe via Stripe Connect. Funds from customer purchases go directly to your connected Stripe account, minus any applicable Stripe fees and Store Forge platform fees. We do not hold or escrow funds on your behalf. By using Store Forge payments you also agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.

4. Your content

You own the content you upload — product descriptions, images, branding, and any other material. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe on third-party rights. We may remove content that violates these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Store Forge to:

• Sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited goods
• Mislead customers about products or pricing
• Interfere with the platform's operation or security
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the platform

6. Limitation of liability

Store Forge is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost revenue, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
